Our Authenticity Standards
- Every piece is stamped with its karat marking — all gold jewelry is clearly stamped 10k or 14k, and all silver jewelry is stamped 925, so you can verify exactly what you have in your hands
- The karat is always accurate as described — what you see in the listing is exactly what you receive. We never misrepresent metal quality or composition
- All pieces are sourced from verified suppliers — we only work with trusted, reputable suppliers who meet our strict standards for metal quality and craftsmanship
- We do not sell gold-filled or gold-plated jewelry — every gold piece we carry is solid 10k or 14k gold. If it is not solid gold, we will always say so explicitly

If You Believe Your Piece Is Not Authentic
We take authenticity claims seriously and investigate every concern thoroughly. The following process applies to all authenticity disputes:
- Contact us with your order number, a clear description of your concern, and supporting evidence — this may include third-party testing results, photos, or documentation from a certified jeweler
- Once your claim is reviewed and initial evidence is accepted, you will be required to ship the piece back to us for further in-house testing — the customer is responsible for all shipping costs throughout this process
- Ship your piece via FedEx or UPS with tracking and insurance. We are not responsible for lost or undelivered return shipments
- Once we receive and test the piece, we will respond with our findings within 3–5 business days
- If testing confirms the piece is inauthentic or does not match the listed description, we will issue a full refund for the product and all shipping costs paid, as well as offer a full replacement if preferred
- If testing confirms the piece is authentic and matches the listing, no remedy will be issued, all shipping costs remain the customer's responsibility, and the piece will be returned to you

Solid Jewelry Warranty — 6 Months
Applies to all solid 10k and 14k gold and sterling silver (.925) pieces including solid chains, bracelets, pendants, and bangles.
What This Covers
- Manufacturing defects — any flaw in craftsmanship or construction present at the time of purchase
- Stone loss due to a defective setting — if a stone falls out as a result of a setting failure (not physical impact or misuse), reported within 30 days of purchase
What This Does Not Cover
- Physical damage from impact, bending, or misuse
- Normal wear and stretching over time
- Stone loss reported after 30 days from the date of purchase
- Damage from improper storage, chemical exposure, or third-party repairs
- Lost or stolen items
How We Resolve It
If your claim is approved, we will work through the following in order:
- Free repair — our first step whenever the piece can be properly restored
- Replacement — if the item cannot be repaired, we will replace it with the same or equivalent piece
- Store credit at full purchase value — if the item is no longer available

Hollow & Lightweight Jewelry Warranty — 3 Months
Applies to hollow chains, lightweight rings, earrings, lightweight sterling silver (.925) pieces, and other lighter-construction pieces in 10k and 14k gold and silver.
What This Covers
- Manufacturing defects — any flaw in craftsmanship or construction present at the time of purchase
What This Does Not Cover
- Kinking, crushing, or bending from pressure or impact
- Clasp wear or failure from normal use over time
- Stone loss of any kind
- Damage from snagging, tangling, or pulling
- Damage from chemical exposure, improper storage, or third-party repairs
- Lost or stolen items
How We Resolve It
If your claim is approved, we will work through the following in order:
- Replacement — if the defect is confirmed, we will replace the item with the same or equivalent piece
- Store credit at full purchase value — if the item is no longer available

How to File a Warranty Claim
Filing a claim is simple. Contact us within your warranty window with the following:
- Your order number or proof of purchase
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos showing the defect
We will review your claim and respond within 2 business days. If approved, we will provide return shipping instructions. Return shipping for approved warranty claims is covered by The Jewelry Vault.
General Terms
- Warranty Period: Begins on the date of purchase.
- Transferability: Applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
- Proof of Purchase: A valid order number or receipt is required for all warranty claims.
- Our Discretion: The Jewelry Vault reserves the right to determine whether a claim qualifies under this warranty based on inspection of the item.
